ive tried activating sharing on the options on both computer and they both have the same network name.
When i tried to install the driver software on the laptop an error occur-ed and it automatically closed the installation process
what do i do and please tell me step by step

I’ll share different info. Your printer uses the same cartridges as my cx8400. I get them at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp for $5. Good luck with your printer sharing.

The Epson CX500 is not a wireless printer, so unless you have a wireless router and a wireless print server, you are not going to be able to print wirelessly.
It sounds like you may need the updated drivers for your laptop. Go to the Epson website, type in CX5000 in the search window, Select Drivers and Downloads.
