Even though McAfee is my current Anti-Virus software. When I select an email attached file The message Norton has found no viruses present appears in the Download file/Save file box.

You have not completely uninstalled norton virus…..to do this go to your search mode on computer and click on files….then in the what your looking for box type in Norton …..hit search….I think you will be amazed on the items that appear on the list…once the search is done you can delete each item one at a time…then after you delete them…go back and check your all programs file and your change/remove programs file and make sure that norton along with live update and symatec is deleted…after that turn off your computer..wait 5 min then restart….should solve the problem….also you may want to turn off Mcfee virus protection when doing this also….

U haven't completely uninstalled Norton even with its uninstall.
Perfect Uninstaller can help u.
Use Special Uninstall and click Norton, then Next.

Norton has a removal tool for people who have problems uninstalling the program all the way. It should be located on their website.

Yahoo is using norton to scan the attachment for viruses, it has nothing to do with your system, you'll get the same scan from any computer you use to access your yahoo mail
