my son got an ipod shuffle yesterday and i have been trying all morning to sync music into it.
I finally got itunes downloaded and
all my music converted from media player over to itunes and
rated all music
but when i try to sync my top rated into the ipod I keep getting error messages that it can't sync.
Someone please help
syncing ipod do not disconnect
Then
the ipod cannot be synced. the required folder cannot be found.
the disk could not be read from or written to
called apple and got it fixed

if you have itunes, as soon as you plug in the ipod to the computer it should automatically sync, i would go ahead and call apple about the problem to see what they can do, If it doesn't work at all I would just take it back to were you got it and exchange it.

What is the exact wording of the message? That leads to the answer.
If you can get the shuffle to show up in iTunes, try restoring it.
If that doesn't work, or you keep getting the error, post the wording here, or search apple support site for the wording:
