Im trying to find out how in the world i could transfer all my music from my Microsoft formatted iPod to my mac computer. I have my ipod formatted to windows so i can put in music from other computers without having to sync my ipod to it. I have 5000+ songs that i want to put in my computer now… how can I do? what should I download? can it even be done?

once again, i would like to add that i DO NOT have a Microsoft computer

plug it in go to my computer find your ipod right click it to make a search that includes hidden flies and folders. copy and paste to new location

If the music is already in your iPod, here is a software that takes the music from your iPod and puts it onto the computer. http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/
Or, you can use a hard drive to transfer the songs from the library on your PC to your Mac.
Other than transferring the songs themselves, PC songs are the same as Mac songs, so there won't be any formatting issues.

There is a solution.
1. copy your songs in iPod onto pc with iPod Manager.

2. copy those songs to Mac with storage device– ipod can do this, lol.
Done!
