how to uninstall adobe reader 9.2 from an incompatible system?

Hi,
I recently installed Adobe reader 9.2 from online, without checking the system requirements.

my laptop is an old AMD K2 400 MHz processor, while Adobe reader 9.2 needs a 1.5 GHz or higher processer.

Now, if I try to unistall reader, i am not able to, bcos I get this message - "THE INSTALLATION PACKAGE CANNOT BE INSTALLED BY WINDOWN INSTALLER SERVICE. YOU MUST INSTALL A WINDOWS SERVICE PACK THAT CONTAINS A NEWER VERSION OF WINDOWS INSTALLER SERVICE"

what do i do now? any help deeply appreciated!
