I installed Resume Works Pro a Windows 98/Me/Xp compatible software (I didn’t know at the time) onto my Windows Vista computer not knowing that the two aren’t compatible. Now that I am trying to remove the software my system won’t allow me. This software is made by a company named Individual Software and while I have contacted them I have yet to get a response.
When I check for an online soultion to the problem I get this message from the Program Compatibility Assistant: “this program requires a missing Windows component” and when I check for an online solution to that problem I get this message: “This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between this version of Windows and this version of Microsoft Deprecated DLL Components. This program was created by Microsoft Corporation.”
*What does all of that mean?
*What can I do to remove this software?
I forgot to mention that I have already went to Control Panel–>Programs–>Unistall Programs–>Resume Works Pro–> Uninstall. That doen's work. I've also tried to remove the folders and then remove the program but I was denied access even though I am the administrator.
Is it possible to install the Windows XP service pack from Microsoft Office website and then uninstall Resume Works Pro or will I just destroy my computer trying to do that.

Obviously Individual Software don’t really give a dam as long as you buy their product. I did exactly the same thing, loaded Resume works pro after I checked on line to see if it was compatible with Windows Vist SP1, it was according to the fools who said it was, now d I can’t remove it. Thanks Individual Software for the hassle.
