How to uninstall Ubuntu on a dual boot without deleting partition…..?

I installed Ubuntu on my computer, it is dual boot.
I have a C: drive with Windows XP Professional and a D: drive with Ubuntu.
How can I uninstall Ubuntu without deleting the partition ?
Another detail, my internal cd-rom drive is not working, only an external one.
