I installed winrar before but found that many files wouldn’t open so i deleted the files. At the time i just wanted to get rid of it so i’m sure i didn’t delete it all. I read that you can go to control panel and add/remove a program but i tried that and there is no winrar file. i also tried going to program files and using the winrar uninstall file but i dont have that either. I cant find anything winrar but when i try to open files it still only gives me the choice of opening with winrar.zip i dont know how to change this or how to completely and properly uninstall winrar. please help?!?!

guess i would reinstall it, then do it the right way, and use add/remove

Install a great free program called ccleaner, you’ll love it and it will do the trick and many others, do a search on google for it.
