when i was installing my Zune software that i downloaded off of the Zune website, i accidentally put all of the components inside the "program files" folder(when it asks you where to put the zune stuff, i clicked "program files" folder), so now all of the stuff that belongs to Zune is scattered all over the program files folder. how do i get rid of the zune software safely so that i dont accidentaly delete any important files that are necessary for my computer? i already tried to look up the program in "add/remove programs" but it does not appear there because it probably does not have a folder of its own in the "program files" folder. also, i tried to look for an uninstall button but i havent found it. and im worried that if i press that button, everything in the program files folder will be deleted, because when i uninstall another program, the folder that all of the items that program needed were in got deleted, so im afraid i might do harm to my computer. please help me.

Go to C:\Program Files and look to see if there are "loose" files (not in folder). These might be the software that you are looking for, if they were not installed in a file. That is extremely unlikely though. If you downloaded a theme to dress up your desktop, that would not be located there.
You did not mention the OS you are running or the exact files that you are trying too deal with. I assume that Vista is the same as XP to the extent that you are prompted as to where and under what file name you are installing a file. Keep track of where you put things in the future is the best advice I can think of for you in the future.
If the programs or other files are not causing a problem, you can always just leave them wherever they are.
If they are causing a problem, you can always create a restore point, delete something that seems unnecessary, and if it is necessary you go back to the restore point.
If you have a backup of the programs and information you can always delete the whole mess and restore it from your backups..
