how to uninstalling AVG to install Kaspersky?

I had AVG the free version, and recently i bought Kaspersky, Internet Security… Before installing kaspersky, i uninstalled AVG, but when I install Kaspersky, it says that to uninstall AVG 8, and try again… somebody help me!!!!!

      try to delete AVG8 keys at :
      HKCU\Software\Grisoft

      or delete that directory

      and then you can install Kaspersky Anti Virus

      Try the AVG Remover from AVG: http://www.avg.com/download-tools

      Hmmm…it looks like a part of the old anti virus still in your system, if nothing else works, i would back up all my files, do a recovery on the pc, uninstall w/e av came w/ the pc & try n’ download the Kaspersky one again :)

      First after uninstalling have you restarted your computer.
      If yes then you have to delete its Directory present in the Program Files folder. This is the folder you have to delete: C:\Program Files\AVG
      If after that also it does not work then delete the registry. Start > Run > type regedit >Delete the following registry HKEY_Local_ Machine\Software\AVG.
      This will help you solve the problem.

      had the same issue.

      Easy fix. Go to avg website and look for the avg removal tool
