how to use antivirus?

i purchase & registerd anti virus named F-Secure. its a good anti virus……and its solve all of my virus, spy ware problems. and i like it to use as well.
now the problem I'm facing is i cant browse internet from my internet explorer……cant go any website i desire to go, its says page can not be found. i even pres the option "allow all" in my f-secure internet sheild, but still i cant browse from internet explorer. then i install Mozilla Firefox , with that i can browse any website but having some problems it dont open the pop up window , which i need to see. i want to browse website from internet explorer. also i cant sign in msn messenger from my pc but i can sign in form other pc

can any one help me to solve the problem or know how to use f-scure antivirus
