How would putting vista on my macbook affect leopard?

July 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I have a 2.4ghz intel macbook with 2 gigs of ram and I was going to put vista on it, but I was wondering if it affects my leopard installation. I would use bootcamp (not a virtual machine). Will it slow leopard down? Also, if vista were to get a virus, could it affect leopard? Thanks!!

There will be no effect upon Leopard, other than the fact that Vista uses hard drive space. It won't slow Leopard down, and at this point there are no known viruses that can infect a Windows install and then spread to a Mac OS install.

I have several machines (at work) bootcamped and have had no problems.
