Hi there,
I’d like some help on my printer. See, it’s really old (it’s a printer, scanner and copier) but it’s like 3 years old and so I have a new computer that was a birthday gift but the problem is that it’s Windows Vista and I don’t know if it’s compatible with my old printer.
I asked a sales associate when I was looking at new printers if the new one I was interested in was compatible with Windows Vista and he suggested that I just update the driver for my old one so that my printer will work with my new computer. I guess I could save some money and that way I don’t have to sell my old one and replace it with a new one.
Thing is, I don’t know how to do it and before i resort to calling HP customer service, I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to help me with this problem. Thanks.

Go here;

although you say 1310, that is a series number you will need the model (1311, 1312, ect.)
You will need the HP Full Feature Software and Drivers for all the applications or you can just use the drivers (smaller download and less features)
Download and then turn your printer on (do not hook to computer) then run the application and follow the on screen instructions.
