I was given a tip to remove my Symantec AntiVirus from my computer, as it can cause alot of problems. I went to add/remove programs from the control panel and clicked "remove" and in the middle of the uninstallation process it freezed up. I had to shut down my computer and try again, and the same thing happened. 3 times in a row. So I quit trying and left the computer and came back a few hours later. About 10 minutes later while I was on the internet, the speaker started making a really annoying constant "Thp.. Thp.. Thp.. Thp.. Every second, followed by my computer freezing. Now my Symantec icon on the bottom right corner has a yellow exlamation point on it. I’ve been dealing with this problem for a week now, and I just can’t take it anymore. I tried removing it again and it says "Preparing to install…" (Although I’m uninstalling it) followed by "The feature you are trying to use is on a network source that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package ‘Symantec AntiVirus.msi’ in the box below.
Use source:
\\Lmnav02\vphome\CLT-INST\WIN32\
Then when I exit out a box comes up that says "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
So I went to the Symantec site and downloaded a tool that will help completely uninstall Symantec. It said that I had to remove Symantec AntiVirus from the add/remove programs…. Ugh…
I have version 10.1.6.6010.

it seems that you need to login to your office network, n then uninstall it.
The network path \\Lmnav02\vphome\CLT-INST\WIN32\ shows that ur source was on a network, so connecting and then unstalling will be easy task.
Or u can open that location through CTRL+R and copy paste enter the above path to open that folder
copy all contents, placed it some where in ur pc, and start uninstalling, when msi uninstaller ask for the source, locate that msi on ur system. hehe. But remember, the msi should be that one which was used when it was 1st installed. otherwise it will not work
