Nothing. Just don’t open them in notepad anymore and you’ll be fine.

You don’t have to do anything. You’ve simply created a file association between DLL and notepad. This won’t affect the operation of your computer. DLL files can’t actually be open and read, as they are a part of another executable program.

Don’t be afraid, the solution is so simple. First right click on any DLL file, choose Open With option, select Choose Program, then a window named "Open With window" will appear. Now you have to select the right program for opening DLL file and click on the combo box right beside the following sentence:
Always use the selected program to open this kind of file. After that press OK. Then all the DLL file icons will restore again.
