i am running windows vista 64 bit with built in realtek hd audio, how do i play through soundcard, ilke in xp?

i see no option in my sound settings to play through the soundcard like i have with xp?? any ideas?
when i open the playback devices there are only 2 listed, my speakers and digital audio out, see no other options?

      Should be there if your sound card driver is installed. If you right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and go to Playback Devices both your onboard and card should be there and you can set the default playback item there.

      Edit: Does it say it for your onboard sound or your card though? It should say what device they are for underneath the words "Speakers" and "Digital Audio".
