I am unable to access my Yahoo mail box. I downloaded the free AVG 8.0 and did not check the box to keep my?

Yahoo toolbar. Now AVG appears before the Search box under the Google box at the top of my screen and in faint lettering in the AVG search box it reads "powered by YAHOO! SEARCH. I can pull up the Yahoo home page and can access weather, horoscopes etc. etc. but cannot access the mailbox at all. Can someone please give me step by step to go back to the Yahoo toolbar. Thank you in advance.
