I used internet explorer for 10+ years and could do it so easy. I would go to "tools" and "options" and so forth, and clear it that way. But I am trying it on firefox and I can never get rid of the URLs that continue to accumulate. It seems like a simple thing, but I have not found it yet…………… I am using firefox after some research and trial and error and found out that it runs so much faster on my computer pulling up web pages and has so many add ons to pick and choose from, and they are not forced upon me. I choose what I want…That is great… And I can have around 20 web pages open at one time….
I have run computers since the 80's, and there is something new to learn on them each time I use them…. I would really appreciate a correct answer from some of you computer buffs out there that know this simple answer…..
Thanks,

1. Select Tools from the menu
2. Go to Clear Private Data
3. Make sure the box labeled 'Browsing History' is checked.
4. Click 'OK'

go into tools (if ur on a mac)(on a pc look for it elsewhere maybe) look for an option saying "clear private data" and it will give you an option to clean up :cookies, saved passwords, browsing history, etc. and yo may choose (or unchoose..whichever ones to delete, or you may go into preferences and just choose it so that it asks you if you would like to clear private data after everytime you close firefox, or you can make it so it auto deletes when you close it. Or you can set it to keep the files for X amount of days only also there
