I cannot get AVG Free 8.0 to install on my computer. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Error: Action failed for file _AVG7_avgtdi.sys: stopping service….

What is going on with it. I have tried 5 times now.

      your operating system maybe be too old.. i ran into this problem as well..

      if you have windows XP you need to do your automatic updates everyday.. it keeps the system up to date and the technological world is changing so fast you need to have the newest operating system.. to get the most up to date packages click on your automatic updates and download ALL of them.. that should fix it, or do a google search for windows XP service pack 2 or 3 and that should fix the problem
