example if i open nero a message appears: are you sure you want to add information in C:Programfiles\Ahead\NeroStartSmart\NeroStartSmart.exe to the registry? & a yes or no tab appears.if you click yes it would prompt this message:importC:Programfiles\Ahead\NeroStartSmart\NeroStartSmart.exe .the specified file is not a registry script.you can only import binary registry file from within the registry editor.
and it is all the same with other programs in my pc.
please help

either do a system restore or completely reinstall windows

something has gone wrong with nero and your registry
is it possible for you to uninstall nero ??
is it possible for you to do a system restore ??
do you know how to boot up in safe mode by
pressing f8 quickly while the computer is booting up
then use last know good config point
might rescue you
