I cannot remove Mcafee. I can’t find it anywhere. How do I remove it?

I am repairing someone’s WIndows 98 computer. I have searched and searched for Mcafee, and it is nowhere to be seen. I searched in Safe Mode as well. Can’t find it.

When Windows is loading, it stops and has an error after it loads autoexec.bat … and it puts the location of the mcafee file at programs/network~/mcafee/scan.exem but this folder doesn’t seem to exist. And, yes the option for hidden files is already checked.

How do I remove it?
