I have been trying for 3 days to get my email. I am not able to get to the mail.yahoo.com webpage from my work OR home computer. I can access anyother yahoo pages that I want to, but not my email.

Me too — all day, until a few minutes ago.
I could not even get to Yahoo mail login page, despite many different approaches — different browsers, different computers in different locations using different ISPs in morning and after work.
Possibly, there was a problem with the "keep me logged in" feature — try logging out of Yahoo (not simply close browser window). Then close browser & start again.
If that still doesn't work, here's what I did that preceded success (coincidence, or not):
I logged out of other all other Yahoo services (including Answers), then accessed mail.yahoo.com through a "free proxy server" (google those 3 words). This got me to the mail login page & I was able to log in to Yahoo mail successfully. Then, I logged out, exited & restarted browser & then got to mail login page & into Yahoo email normally (w/o proxy server).
If the problem was with the "keep me logged in" feature, it might be a good idea to continue logging out of Yahoo for a few days at least (not just close browser window & use the "keep me logged in" feature).
[An error message when I finally did get the email login page the first time today (using proxy server) said something about not being able to have more than one login active at a time.]
