I have a samsung net-book and my printer used to work with it but ever since i have got kaspersky (2009 for ultra portables) i cant seem to use my printer unless i turn kaspersky off which is a bit of a hassle plz help.:(

kaspersky firewall program is probably preventing your printer to communicate with your computer. You need to find where in Kaspersky it will allow you to change the settings to let your computer communicate with your printer .
If you can’t find where , then call or email your problem to Kaspersky’s support. They will advise you on how change the security settings in Kaspersky’s program. You may also try their web site for live support or their questions and answer section.
