I already have a virus, but the salesman said I could install it and get rid of it. I try to install it, and a short prompt comes up that says "installing…" and then another window pops up for a fraction of a second, and afterwards, nothing else happens.
Is this because of the virus that I have? (Spyguard 2008).
If I can't install it, then what was the point of buying an anti virus?
I tried installing in safe mode, but it won't let me either.
Another thing: I uninstalled all of the other old antiviruses that I used to have, including anti-spywares and what not. So there's not antivirus on my PC now.
