I cant remember my file encryption cert password, can i delete the old cert and issue a new one?

I dont need it as all my encrypted info was stored in another place too. Although i need a new cert, how can i delete the old one and make a new one?

Yeah that happened to me once don't you just go file delete? Then the password will reset. I think thats what you are takling about.
