I'm running on Windows Vista 64 bit. I'm trying to uninstall a few programs, like Helio Player and a bunch of unnecessary junk.. I recently did a System Restore, and since then I can't uninstall anything!
When I try it simply says the Setup or whatever else program is used to unsintall has stopped working..not repsonding..
And reversing the Restore isn't an option for me, the restore is necessary to keep my Internet Explorer working.
What else can I do??

Perhaps when you did the system restore, it removed all of the uninstall files for those programs.
Sounds like a mess.
All you have to do is reinstall those programs again, then uninstall them through add/remove programs. That should work for you.
EDIT: If you do what ankit_goel_87 mentions, you may majorly regret it. If you delete folder or files in the program files folder and there are any shared .dll's inside them - and you delete them, other programs that you may use or want will NOT work.

this is happening becoz the files of the programs u r uninstalling might be corrupted..thats y it is sayin setup..it means to reinstall the program…well do one thing just go to program files in c:\ and delete the folder containing the program
