i can’t uninstall certain sims 3 installed content?

ok so i tried installing some outfits for the sims 3 that i bought with simpoints
after that, whenever i went in create a sim or to plan an outfit, my game would go black when those outfits loaded. this never happened with any of the objects i installed though.

i uninstalled everything anyway, but i just installed riverview, and that comes with some outfits.
the outfits made my screen go black so i tried to uninstall them, but after i clicked uninstall, it said:
Error: cannot uninstall package with dependents

does anyone know what this means? will i have to uninstall riverview completely? also, does anyone know why outfits make my screen go black?

ps, my graphics card isn't good enough for TS3. i have to run the game on low graphics or it crashes, so could that be part of the problem?
