It is quite probable that you do not have the most recent copy of Windows Installer Version on your system. The above error message is generated when you have an old version of Windows Installer installed on your machine.
If you want to check the version of the Windows Installer on your system, check the version of MSI.DLL in the Windows\System32 folder. Or, another way of checking which version is currently installed, is to type msiexec /? into the Windows Run box or command prompt.
The latest version of Windows Installer is version 4.5 which you can download from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5a58b56f-60b6-4412-95b9-54d056d6f9f4&displaylang=en
Once you install this latest version of Windows Installer ,reboot your system and then try to uninstall java again.
I hope this works for you.

Go to Start menu => Control panel => Add/Remove program => highlight Java and then uninstall it there.
If it is not there, can you see where it locates on your computer such as C: program files\ Java? If so, Perfect Uninstaller will help you finish the uninstall process quickly. Wish this help you: http://www.uninstalltips.com
