i cant uninstall my printer.?

i have an hp officejet 610 all in one printer and i used to have a 500 series but i cant install the 610 because it says i must remove the old software first but when i go to add and remove programs it says cant find the install log so it wont remove it,the other printer doesn’t show up anywhere but add/remove and i contacted hp and they had me download a installer utility that would remove it but it doesn’t show up there either, i have tried to remove every file that says hp bit still no luck. can anyone help please
