The problem is, whenever I reboot my computer, that the "online backup & sharing" thing pops up trying to install it, but it always cancels because some files are missing I guess. The program is already installed, so I don’t know why it’s trying to install it again.
So I’ve tried doing a repair but I get an error saying it can’t find the file vault suite installer.msi. So I tried uninstalling the program but it says it can’t find c:\program files\verizon\online backup & sharing\auto update\InstallerTasks.Updater.dll.
I also found the program on Verizon to reinstall the program, hoping it would fix the missing files. But instead I get an error saying there’s already a previous version and to uninstall it to install that one. But from what I just explained, I can’t repair or uninstall the program. So my question is, is there a manual way to get rid of the online backup & sharing, so that I can stop getting the program from trying to install every time I reboot?

I find the solution for the problem (I am computer illiterate); I have Dell, Vista 2007, 32 Bits, Home premium;
need to go to: Start, control panel, Back-up and restore C…, chose one day before the “Tragedie” happen; stay back, relax, and wait like 30 to 40 minutes, live the Computer to fix the problem; this was for me free and still working; (22 August 2009);
