I get the problem sometimes on my PC, not all the time. On Task manager I wont see Internet Explorer running under Applications, but it shows up under Processes. Unless I restart the machine I cannot use Internet Explorer. Any advice is appreciated.

This isn't a big deal, and you don;t have to restart the machine.
Next time it happens, do as you have done and seek it out in processes. Right click it, and "choose end process tree"
not end process, but the whole tree.
You should be okay.
Honestly, the best solution to problems with IE is Firefox.

there type "taskkill /im iexplore.exe" …plz remove the double quotes…
and then try launching internet explore

open my computer icon & find the address bar, it should be located at the top of the page type in http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
download Firefox. use it instead of internet explorer. (Ur Internet Explorer is infected with spy-ware, IE is prone to that)
Firefox is a browser much like IE accept its more secure when it comes to being infected with spyware.
