I could not delete norton antivirus from my computer?

I have Norton Anti virus in my computer. Now I want to install another virus software. However, I could not delete the Norton Anti Virus programme from add / removal option.( through control panel) Can anybody help me?

      You need to go to Norton’s web site and download a small program that will remove the anti-virus from your computer.
