I am getting my first laptop soon and still wondering what Internet security suite I should chose and why…I have been doing research for at least 5 hours or more. I want to go with Bit defender Internet Security 2009 but also might want Norton Internet Security 2009 instead. Read all reviews on here, CNET, PC world, went to Bit defender and Norton main websites and still can not decide. My parents have Norton Internet Security 2007 and Webroot Spy sweeper. A friend of theirs who works on computers for a living setup all of it for them and there internet connection for there laptop. I will be doing all the installing programing of software on my laptop along with trying to configure my laptop to connect to parents wireless router modem with no experience at all. Will all this be easy to do?Someone please help…

I would say norton because i find it alot more accessible and it is very efficient in finding and eliminating any viruses that you may or may not contract onto your laptop

norton has better rep.. but as a computer nut. i have noticed more and more people struggling with norton. Norton conflicts with too many things and tries to take everything into itself.
I personally use bitdefender, it has worked exceptionally well for me. very easy to use.

For me BitDefender is better.
A recommendation from me: Do a research for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009.I’m using kaspersky and I’m happy with it.
