I Downloaded Kaspersky Anti Virus Software But It Wouldn’t Let Me Contuine With The Setup!?

Okay so I wanna download Kaspersky Anti Virus, because I deleted my old software AVG 8. So when I downloaded the Kaspersky it downloaded fine, but when it came to the actually setup it would not let me contuine because it said that there “was a dectected software on your computer that is incompatible with Kaspersky software please remove the following software: AVG 8″
But I deleted it already and it still says that it is on my computer? Can someone please help me! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
