you need to go in to the setting of mcaffee and in the firewall settings choose limewire as allowed

go to mcaffe then to configure then internet network under firwall protection go to advanced then program permissions then in the list find lime wire make it full access hope this helps

if you have xp, go start - control panel - windows firewall - exceptions and then look for limewire and check it's box. hope that helps
