hi my uncle got a antivirus cd called mcafee with his computer and it is free you dont have to suscribe it for money and i am using it too and i have my own antivirus cd aswell if i use it like intsall it in my pc will it be free and i have got macafee antivirus 1.0 and when i use the internet and go on websited will it have mcafee siteadvisor i live in the uk plz reply??

I wouldn’t use that CD… It sounds like a trick CD that probably has all kinds of viruses on it.
The reason I say this is that the name of the real virus software is McAfee… Not MacAfee…
Just download AVG Free or Avira and you’ll be good to go.
Never install unsolicited software delivered on CDs or email messages.

McAfee is a paid Antivirus program. You were probably given some sort of a free trial CD, and after that trial is up, you will then have to register and be charged a yearly fee. If you don’t want to do it, just uninstall the program after the trial, and install some sort of free Antivirus. For Example: Avira, or AVG. Downloads for those can be found by doing a google search.

McAfee offer free initial periods that are free but then you have to pay. You should only run one antivirus product at a time as they can conflict with each other.
