I had Norton as my virus scan. I changed security software. Now, when I choose to download a file, ?

Norton keeps coming up to scan the file. Since I’m not a subscriber it will not allow the access to the website, it won’t scan, and it will not allow me to open the file. How can I get Norton out of my yahoo e-mail for good?

      The Norton web site has a download that will wipe Norton from your system. I had to use it, because Norton was so out of control I could not remove and reload it.
