what can I do. tried installing in safe mode and it wont work. It started showing before I uninstalled that I had the avg free turned off after I got some Trojans that would not let me heal or move to the vault so I tried to uninstall and reinstall as I read that helped with the Trojan small adq
1 how do I temporarily turn off commodo firewall as it keeps popping up when trying to install and seems to be messing things up with the install
2. any advice on all this
3 I cant afford antivirus..if I cant get avg free to install..is there another free and comparable, good program
thanks..I have been messing with all this for 12 hours and also system restore is what got me the avg free that will not open and is turned off so I don’t know what to do..
I am going nuts with this..please answer all three questions

You need to totally uninstall the original version now, as you have corrupted it enough to cause this problem.
