if you haven't tried this:
Install the driver and then connect the printer

As soon as this printer is under waranty they should advice u for the best

But wat i suggest u to do is to remove it completly and check this from control pannel

Maybe also there is some services is still running in windows as this should be check from services at the admin tool in control pannel

How do you connect the printr to your PC, USB?

START > SETTINGS > PRINTERS. Then on the left, ADD PRINTER.

Go through the motions. Hopefully it will pick up the printer. It will then ask for a driver, pick specify driver and go to Lexmark on the left and then pick your model on the right.
