I've had Norton Internet Security for years, always buy their "upgrades" when they stop supporting my old version. Every year, their product is more craptastic. I've had nothing but problems with the latest one and I'ver had it with Symantec's junk and useless "technical support".
So, what's a good replacement? McAfee? ZoneAlarm? Something else? I'm running XP, 3GhZ Pentium 4.

If you want another security suite…Kaspersky is a good one to my understanding. For separate programs, ZoneAlarm has a good firewall, and AVG is a good antivirus. Both have free versions, but the paid has more features.

Norton Internet Security Sucks. On the other Hand Norton Antivirus 2008 is the best Norton Anti virus yet, in my opinion. It is not as bloated as previous versions and catches almost everything. Many people hate Norton products. It just depends on what you get. I workd for a computer repair / sales company and we use it everywhere, businesses and everything and haven't had any major problems while it has been installed.
If you are totally sick of symantec, Kapersky is supposed to be good

Antivir is supposed to be good as well and have a very high detection rate. (The pay for version is what I would reccomend)
