I have a linksys wireless router and want to set up the security using WPA2…?

September 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments

The software included with the router only presents WPA and other encryption methods as options, but not WPA2. Is there a way to use WPA2 encryption with my router?

it depends on your model. i had a fairly old one, and it had that encryption. just go to linksys.com, and go to support and they have a bunch of downloads that could help

access your router through your internet…http://192.168.0.1 …the log in is most likely …admin..password….and then look at the router settings, it should be there if it’s accessible.

      there should be
type in your router ip in ur adress bar of any browser and it will ask you for your login and password. then you will be able to change the settigns from there

to find ip go to start run type cmd then hit enter whene ur dos window opens type ipconfig and look at your ip for the router i think its teh MAC adress but im not sure
