No where, not even a google search comes up with this one. My norton antivirus corporate finds it but will not let me delete or quarantine. When I try to delete the file out of win 32, it says access denied. What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also not great using computers.

go to housecalls, do a search and look for a removal tool
or boot up to the safe mode and delete the file from the command prompt
or start, run, type in msconfig
under the start up tab uncheck the box
that shows that name, reboot, and then delete that file

Restart your computer into safe-mode. To do that, shut down, once you turn it on, start hitting the F8 key repeatedly, about twice a second until a menu comes up that allows safe mode.
Once in safe mode, run norton, it should be able to delete the file then.
After that is done, reboot again, and use a GOOD antivirus scanner to scan your system.
Try the free online scan at http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

Replace Norton with one of these:
Paid:
Kaspersky (http://kaspersky.com/ )
NOD32 (http://www.eset.com/ )
Avira (http://www.avira.com/ )
Free:
Avira (http://www.free-av.com/ )

Vista Virus Removing
ok,here we go
1st,we want to clear the System Restore restore points.
this is where MANY anti virus programs fail us,they simply DO NOT REMOVE RESTORE POINTS WHERE A VIRUS CAN HIDE !
every time you reboot, the virus is rebooted along with it.
boot computer
while computer is booting up,press f-8 key [ repeatedly ] till you are given several boot choices
choose safe boot
not to worry that everything looks screwed up,lol, that's "Safe Boot" normal
if you have any anti virus programs,NOW is the time to run that along with any anti spyware programs as well.
now start here below
start–all programs–accessories–system tools–system restore
settings:
drive (c)
setting:
check all drives
check OFF
while there, move the slider down to 3% and regain 10% space on your hard drive
after you have completed the ENTIRE removal process, you will return to Sytem Restore to turn it back on and create a clean, uninfected, fresh restore point to work with in the future
ok,apply,ok and close that window
next we open Add/Remove and delete any program that you did not install
start–control panel–Add/Remove
open Change/Remove
click program to remove
click change/remove
close that window
next clear taskbar & desktop of suspisious icons
right click and select delete
empty the Recycle Bin
next clear out Internet Options
start–control panel–internet options–general:
clear:
history files
temp files
cookies
open Privacy tab
click advanced
click override
check:
allow 1st party & session cookiescheck BLOCK 3rd party [ malware/tracking ] cookies
click ok
next up is Advanced tab:
in ActiveX section:
uncheck:
automatically prompt
download unsigned
download unsafe
you can click apply/ok and
close window
next it's time to REALLY empty those temp files and cookies
wha,huh ? didn't we just do that?
yes and no!
there are TWO temp file folders and you just cleaned out the 1st 1 only!
start–my computer–local disk drive (c)–windows:

click select all
press delete key on keyboard
close window
Cookies next:
start–right click the username-documents & settings–cookies
click view
click select all
press delete key on keyboard
next we tighten up those Services back doors left open by default in XP.
this allows hackers to gain access to your computer so we'll CLOSE those 2 doors !
start–all programs–accessories–administrative tools [ stop here ]
IF you do NOT have Administrative Tools on either you start page or control panel,do this:
right click start
select properties
select statr menu
select customize
choose Administrative Tools to be shown on your all programs listing
now click services
there are two service we need to Disable
Alerter & Messenger
Messenger is NOT related to ANY function of ANY instant messnger !
all services are in alphabetical order, easy to find
right click each service
select properties
from the drop down menu in each
select Disable
close window
next we check out the Programs folder & Program data folder [ IF XP has one,Vista DOES ]
start–my computer–local disk drive (c)–windows–programs
check to see if there any programs [ not Windows ] that don't belong there [ not installed by you ]
right click program and select delete
check the program data folder next
do the same here
And you THOUGHT this was going to soooo EASY !!
DANGER ! DANGER ! DANGER !
FOR QUALIFIED,ADVANCED USERS ONLY !!

open registry:

regedit
there are 4 registry keys to check:
hkey_classes_root

hkey_local_machine
hkey_users
each "key" will have EITHER a triangle OR + before it.
clicking that will open that key and close it
+ hkey_classes_root
click triangle or +
same for software
now look for name of program being removed
caveate here:
some programs have two file names
ex:
norton & symantic
avast & alwil
rootkit revealer & systernal
get the picture?
make SURE you know ALL the file names of the program you are removing or there will be files left behind.

Vista Virus Removing
the add/remove application is renamed programs & features.

start–control panel–default programs–programs and features
click program then click uninstall
my computer has been renamed computer and my documents has been renamed documents
System Restore has also been reconfiguered [ lol,HIDDEN ! ]
start–control panel–performance,information & tools
click disk clean [ remember to do a disk clean before you reboot your computer ]
click local disk drive (c) OR OS(c)
now what happens is that your computer will be scanned for removalable files.
this MAY take a while if you'never performed a disk clean.
one client had 300,355 files waiting to be deleted!
select more options
select system restore and shadow copies
[ see how WELL Vista's system restore is HIDDEN ! ]
select clean up
that only deletes the stored restore points, you can't turn system restore off!
when you click ok,you will be asked if you want to "delete these files",this is part of the disk clean
click ok every time it's flashed at you
