September 1st, 2008 · 5 Comments

KOLLA keeps being blocked by my Spyware, as well as Spybot, and Tracking Cookies, but Kollah keeps reappearing and nothing I tried has work. HELP PLEASE

Please help.
I seen to have come under attack by some Trojan Virus.
I currently have active:

AOL Spyware Zapper
Yahoo Online Protection
(With anti virus, spy ware blocker)
I have also downloaded Lavasofts Ad Ware.

Ok Im very annoyed, whatever I have keeps causing my computer to freeze. Whenever I ckick on a website it also re directs me somwhere else.

My Wallpaper keeps changing to something that says CAUTION AD WARe/SPY WARE DETECTED DOWNLOAD PROGRAM.

I tried CYBERDEFENDER and it Didn’t work.

I ran an AOL CHECK up and a System Scan.
Also Windows Defender Scan.

The best one so far is AD AWARE, which Found MRU … and Tracking cookies and deleted them.

My yahoo spy ware, detected KOLLAH and I keep blocking it, but It keeps reappering.

Nothing seems to work. PLEASE WHat is a known program that can remove this threat!

Ad Awate keeps deleting my threats, also WINDOWS DEFENDER finds a threat and I delete it but my computer still freezes and my browser re directs me to another site.

it is probably in your system restore info as well. so you must disable system restore and use a really good antivirus to get rid of it once and for all. try AVG, Webroot. or Spyware terminator with antivirus .

First, get proper antivirus protection. I suggest Avira Anti Vir (free),

then download a safer Internet Explorer Program like Opera,

then restart the computer in Safe Mode (pressing I belive F8 on startup) and run a avira scan

Sounds like your computer has been taken over by the trojan. And the reason the threats keep appearing is because you probably keep visiting sites that put the threats on your computer.

It doesn't sound like you have sufficient internet security. Try getting Nortons or McAfee.

Sometimes when threats get into your computer they are very hard to remove. You may need to reinstall your operating system and/or reformat your hard drives.

BTW, Opera IS NOT a Internet Explorer program!!!!!!!!!!!

avg.com is the way to go. I had viruses and trojans that even norton anti virus couldnt pick up and this got them with one scan. Give it a try.
