Norton anti virus is pretty garbage. It gets the well known stuff but other than that it's not very thorough. Check this link for some tips and a couple programs you could use: http://spyware.icanspeel.com

try downloading AVG 7.5 free edition, it picks up trojans and puts them in a vault so they cant effect your computer.

I have always used the free trial of TrojanHunter, I have found the program to be very useful in detecting and removing Trojans.

how do you know its a trojan, normally trojans have the word trojan in their source. If its only affecting online games, i would worry to much, but norton should be able identify the problem if serious and give steps how to get rid of it manually.

Norton sucks; it misses about half of the stuff out there. Get Avast or AVG antivirus and it'll be gone in no time.

Hijack This! is for advanced users as can delete things you dont want to delete. I would recomend a combination of Windows Defender and Spybot Seach and Destroy. Norton is a pretty crappy AntiVirus or Firewall, I have had less security "breaches" with ZoneAlarm, plus Norton doesn't stick to their side of contracts. Also run regular scans (once a week or more) to insure you treat infections quickly. Spybot S & D targets spyware (its a handy tool to have) Im not sure but I think I remember it has been used to remove trojans, but SS&D also comes with TeaTimer a registry protector.
In summary; uninstall norton and get some GOOD software. A nice bundle is ZoneAlarm, Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-aware (free version). Hijack This should be used ONLY when you know the exact name of your infection, because otherwise you can delete crucial system files.
