ok so the virus is in c:/ > program files > spyware doctor > klg.dat.
This ‘klg.dat’ is the virus file [i used avg and it detected it but the virus just keeps running everytime i use the computer again and i want to delete it PERMANANTLY , not quarantine it, that doesnt work] i tried deleting it in safe mode but it says its being used, and when i click on properties it says it is a ‘Spyware docter’ component, so i was thinkiing if i uninstalled spyware docter could i then delete it [spyware doctor doesnt actully detect the virus , avg does], the virus is a ‘Trojon horse.Backdoor.Hupigon4.zsn, wat does this do then ?? please help me!!!! i will keep adding details if you need thanx xxxxx
also when i go on run>msconfig , under startup there are 4 things which i dont know what they are used for heres what they say:
rthdcpl.exe
alcmtr.exe
rundll32.exe c:wind… [it wont let me read the rest]
nwiz.exe/install
shall i stop these?

or get avg antivirus and scan your computer and then pick up the infected files and move them to virus vault and u can delete then afterwards.

Use Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, Spyware Doctor is suck.
