I use avast anti-virus protection and it says I have adware. I keep getting pop-ups from this software that makes all these alarm sounds that say I have adware. It tells me this atleast 2 times a day. (this is the avast that is saying I have it) It recommends to "move to chest". Well I have done that. And there is also a choose that says delete. I had tired that too. It keeps popping back up saying I have it.
I also use AVG Anti-Virus and AVG anti-spyware. Which these two work great. I dont think they cover adware since its only the free version
Anyway, If I have more than 2 programs open at once. Say, one will be AIM, and another is the internet, my computer will start to freeze up. Like right now, I type and a few secs. later it will show what I'm typing.
I use firefox, I have a windows XP, and I have just reinstalled windows on here back in Feb. So it hasnt been that long.
My question is, how can I get rid of this adware. It says its in Win32 file.
Thanks
.

get a advanced security protection and scan your computer. you can get a free nod32 trial and it should do it or AVG.

A couple of programs to try are Ad-Aware and Spybot:

Between them you should be able to get rid of whatever's plaguing you.
