Recently, I've had problems with a dropper type virus called Win32:Agent-KSE.
I've tried system restore, manually deleting it, deleting it with Avast, and even moving to chest. But it seems to keep popping up. It's very annoying, because it will randomly make the same three pop-ups appear on my screen and then freeze Internet Explorer.
Is there anything else I can do? Or does anybody have any advice or knowledge of how to deal with this or any dropper? I'd be very grateful for the help. (and please don't barrate me about how I should get so-so program instead of Avast unless it can get rid of this dropper)

First, disable windows messenger service. Second, open IE and Tools/Manage Add-ons/look for any activx, toolbars or other suspicious bho's and disable.Lastly, use Kaspersky on-line virus scanner.

Win32:Agent-KSE is a trojan, trojans love to hide in system restore.
1. up date Avast
2. turn off system restore
3. re boot into safe mode
4. run your scans
5. re boot if clean turn on system restore.
Trojan.Win32.Agent.kse
When executed, this type of Trojan searches for its DLL component, UP.DLL. Once found, it connects to a specific web site to download and execute files on the infected system.
