i have avg-antivirus…..?

and i was wondering if i could download limewire cause the only way i could download music into my ipod . would it be safe to download viruses now that i have avg antivirus

      NO. there are some very malicious programs or cookies that affect your registry before AVG can get a hold of them. There are also some dangerous hacking programs that AVG is not aware of that can have a fatal error affect on your computer. Avg just looks both ways before you cross the virtual road so you don’t get blind sided. It is not a fail safe way to prevent you from getting worms, malware, adware viruses and the like. Yes it will significantly decrease your chances of getting a virus through a download. I would also use Mozilla browser which comes with a download scanner that reviews a download before it is downloaded but still I am pretty sure that is through browsing and not Limewire.

      1. I believe there is an option inside LimeWire where you can check all the files thru an Antivirus Software after it got downloaded.

      2. When you search for music files if the rating is bad or if you get a warning message from Limewire, do not download it…
