I have performed a free 8.0 upgrade but since computer has restarted it states my anti virus and anti spyware is outdated. I never had this message with 7.0 so why am I getting them now on more upto date 8.0? Please advise
The AVG is saying you may not be protected as errors were found:
anti-virus outdated
anti spyware outdated
Somebody has suggested trying to make it update manuall or checking it does this automatically how would i do these two things

have you updated the virus definitions?
I imagine the 8.0 upgrade is just for the software itself, and does not refer to the library of definitions.
Try making it update manually, or check your options to ensure that it does it automatically.
