If I right click on a vulnerability in the list of vulnerabilities, select "open folder where file was initially located", let the window pop up and delete everything that was in that folder…

You will probably end up deleting critical system files and the machine will stop working. USE THE TOOLS PROVIDED by the program, or do nothing. If this program will not fix the problems (it often does not) get one that works.

Kaspersky would give you a link to show you the steps to cover that vulnerability. Its not a direct link unfortunately - you have to copy and paste on your internet browser to get there. Upgrade to KIS 2010, they make the vulnerability scan more user friendly, simply go to kaserpsky’s site and look for product upgrade. Its a free upgrade as long as your 2009 licence is still valid.
